HERE WE GROW AGAIN!
Within the last month we have added 3 new members to our roster!
Our Spaghetti & Meatball luncheon was a HUGE hit! We made some money for the church, had a great meal, and most importantly, had some great fellowship with our members. Jean brought some raffles, so we had a great time overall.
Everyone loves the additions we have made to our services, and our Pastor Roy is doing a outstanding job! Brian, our Music Director is fantastic, and has great music planned for every service. We end every service with one or more Patriotic songs. And that has been very well received by the congregation. Our congregation has loads of energy and compassion, which is something we hadn’t seen in quite a while…
We have quite a busy month coming up in March with the holy season approaching.
Our annual meeting is March 6th. All members are urged to attend.
St. Patrick’s Day Service & Luncheon (in which I’m sure Donna will sing “Danny Boy” to all of us which is a tradition) is March 13th. We urge everyone to wear green (even if you aren’t of Irish decent)…everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day and there’s a special gift for the women that day.
Palm Sunday is March 20th. Palms will be distributed and a wonderful service is planned.
Easter Sunday is March 27th, and we have a fantastic service planned. The church will look beautiful adorned with Easter plants from Piccerillo Florist of Methuen, MA from our presale. I’m sure our Pastor Roy has a very special service planned. I know Brian will be busy preparing the music for this special service, and we have a special Easter Coffee Hour planned.
It’s a busy month here at United Riverside…if you’ve been thinking of joining us, this is the perfect time. We know you’ll love us…and we’re looking forward to meeting you!
