The church for our Easter 2017 services was beautiful. The front doors were adorned with Forcythia wreaths, the planters in the front of the church filled with yellow tulips, and the daffodils that were planted in the front of the church a couple years ago, were starting to bloom. It was in the 80’s this Easter, very unusual for this part of the country. But we’ll take it!
The inside was equally beautiful..the stained glass windows were gleaming with the sun shining through. The Easter plant sale sure did help the church look festive! The music was beautiful thanks to Brian, and the Easter message, inspirational.
We had a Bake Sale and raffles after church at coffee hour.
We are all pretty grateful to have our little church by the river. We’re a small group, with a lot of will to keep our church the most beautiful place where others can come and worship God. We have plans this year for more plantings on the exterior, and more outside events in our beautiful courtyard.
